Gold Foil Celestial Wedding Invitations & Save the Dates

The sun and moon have been woven into our world for as long as I can remember. Long before Birdhouse197 existed, that imagery was already part of the aesthetic we lived in. The 90s revival of celestial symbolism, the dark whimsy of Practical Magic, Buffy, Charmed, that particular era of magic that felt genuinely otherworldly without being heavy about it. Dusk & Dawn grew directly out of that.

It is one of our earliest designs and consistently one of our most loved, especially in foil. The large surface area of this design was made for gold foiling. When light catches it the whole card transforms in a way that photographs genuinely struggle to capture.

My personal favourite is the 3-piece foiled suite in dark to midnight blue gradient with gold foil throughout. Dark at the base, lifting into blue, gold catching every detail. It is one of the most luxurious combinations in the entire catalogue.

Foil finishing is available on selected designs across the range, in gold, silver, copper, rose gold or iridescent.
